Actually, the maximum size of MBR disk can support is 2Tb, so if the disk is more than 2TB, only 2TB space can be used. In order to take full use of the storage space, you should convert to GPT. To reach this goal, you can use disk management in Windows to convert to GPT on an empty disk. But if there are data on hard disk, you should delete all of them before you do the conversion. For most of users, deleting data mat be not the best method. so besides the third-party software mentioned above, AOMEI Partition Assistant also allows you to convert MBR to GPT. Before you do you should clear that system can boot normally from GPT disk when the motherboard of computer supports UEFT.
