- no testpoint altbypass unlock procedure will work now for msm7227-based phones,which using MCUs with fixed security bug.
resurrection cables will NOT work for MCUs with fixed security bug. Because of this,
phones, which are already dead should be recovered using jtag box, which can write ORIGINAL semc boot.

- switch to usb interface was broken for DB200x phones, fixed.

After smartcard update, setool2 no more require internet connection or any credits to unlock any qualcomm-based semc phone. All settings and procedures are same as usual, but internet connection no more required, if card is updated. SEMC qualcomm-based phones, which supported by altbypass are:

New in SEtool 1.1286:
- added quite complex, but working procedure to unlock last SEMC A2 phone, j108 cedar from network locks.
beginners, stay away from this procedure.

- STE U8500 sony phones supported ( lt22,mt26,st25 ). Standard operations supported - flash,trim area read/write.
Network unlock only supported using s1 signature server, which is offline for us.
STE U8500 support was done blindly, should work, but need to be tested.

- added msm8974ab phones support ( D65xx_XPERIA Z2, etc )
- due to multiple requests, added IMEI change procedure for msm722xA phones. Cost is 2 credits.
procedure is very same as msm8x55-based phones :
options : signed mode + altbypass mode + perform full unlock + allow to change , procedure : unlock/repair
Restrictions :
1. after IMEI change you will not be able to flash phone with anything other, than setool2
2. you MUST unlock phone after IMEI change ( can be done in one step ) , so total cost is 2+2 credits.
3. you must reflash phone or perform factory reset from phone service menu to bring new IMEI in effect.
4. if anything will go wrong, you will receive dead phone, which can only be recovered by jtag tools.

ABOUT SETOOL2 SUPPORT SERVER

finally, support area fully restored, all firmwares for sony smartphones are current.
update :
we had setup new support area server, files uploading in progress.
However, it will take many time to fill support area, so keep using firmware downloader.
Support server offline - hoster became bankrupt.
all data is lost and we need to start support area from scratch.
sorry, but i don't have any ETA, when it will be done.
please use XperiFirm downloader and attached tool to decrypt sony firmwares.
once you download required files files from firmware downloader, just drag-and-drop them to ma3d.exe - they will be decrypted and saved under same name.
then you need to rename file to .zip extension and rename files itself so you can add them in proper order to setool2 firmware selection area.
just open files with windows explorer, winzip, far or whatsoever and rename archive :
one, where you can see *kernel* - it is APP firmware part.
one, where you can see *eLabel* - it is eLabel firmware part.
one, where you can see *userdata* - it is FSP firmware part.
one, where you can see *memorystick* - it is CDF firmware part.

Implemented boot restore for msm8x10 phones using EDL mode.
There was ~10 reports that xperia_e1 phones for unknown reason lose s1boot after successful flashing.
Now you can repair boot of such phones :
Select check signed mode + altbypass mode, select "D20xx_XPERIA E1" as model,
Add to fw area corresponding APP,eLabel,FSP,CDF and press flash.
When you prompted to attach/detach testpoint - just press "ready"
